I am having a hard time believing it, but Kreid is, in fact, two years old. I guess since he's the baby, it's just that much harder to accept. His birthday was the 20th and we had cupcakes at home then. Today we celebrated his special day with a party and some of our closest friends. We had the party at Chick-fil-a so the kids could play in the play area, then we sang to our sweet boy, had some homemade Yo Gabba Gabba cupcakes and showered him with gifts. Since we've been so busy this month it was really great to get to spend time with our friends and celebrate our sweet boy. It was a fun day.
Happy birthday, Kreid Allon Everett Smith!
Some of our favorite things about Kreid:
- Now that he's so independent, when he wants to do something he says, "MY DO IT!!!"
- When he gets excited to tell Rob and/or me something he says, "Mommy-Daddy, Mommy-Daddy, Daddy-Mommy" because he can't figure out who to tell, he just wants to say it.
- He learns so quickly and picks up on everything.
- He LOVES any sport
- It's adorable and so sad when Rob or I leave without the kids, Kreid will start crying and say, "my coming! my coming!"
- When he wants you come to him, he says, "mer" (come here...c'mere...mer)
- And when he wants you to come with him, he says, "mon" (come on...c'mon...mon) all while walking away and swinging his hand over his head.
- At the age of two, he can already tell Tyler and Chaser (our dogs) apart, when it took Zay and Ky until at least 4 or 5.
And to answer the question everyone is probably asking...we are NOT cutting his hair any time soon. Rob and I have decided we will cut it when Kreid decides he wants it cut. :)
