Happy Father's Day, Rob!

If you would have told me ten years ago that I would be be married and raising three children I would have laughed right at you. This was NOT part of my plan. Thankfully, I have a Heavenly Father who knows way better than I do, because there isn't a day that goes by that I do not thank him for the gift of my sweet husband. We are talking about a huge dose of GRACE here, when He allowed me the privilege of spending the rest of my days with Rob. I would never in a million years have predicted our paths to cross--let alone for us to be where we are today.
This Father's Day, I simply want to sing the praises of my Heavenly Father, because he knew better than I did when he blessed my socks off with an incredible man that I get to call my husband. And I want the world to know that Rob is the most wonderful example of a great daddy...and I'm pretty certain that Xzayvier, Mekyla and Kreid would all agree.

♥ We love you, Rob and wish you a wonderful Father's Day! ♥

And just to lighten things up a little, in honor of Rob and all the humor he brings this family... The Dad Life

Good to see my girls...

Mekyla, Kreid and I took a trip home to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. Xzayvier was visiting family and Rob was away for work, so we figured it was as good a time as any to visit friends and my mom. I cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it is for me to get to spend some quality time with Tonya and Kari, my two best friends from high school. It is something I definitely took for granted when I lived in Ohio and I'd say one of the things I miss most since I moved is just hanging out with the two of them. I think Mekyla would agree. Aside from her Daddy and her Granny, "Taco" (Tonya) and "Diddy" (Kari...Mekyla's poor pronunciation as a toddler gave them life-long nicknames) are her best buds. She misses them like crazy and loves to go back to Cincinnati to visit them too. And Kreid...well Kreid just loves to get attention. Oh and he loves  to hang out with Tonya's boyfriend, John.
♥ LOVE these girls! ♥

I also had a little extra time to have dinner with two other great friends from high school, Danielle and Stacy...just about a week before Stacy's sweet baby girl, Summer was born.
Now I can't wait to go back to meet Summer and visit with Stacy!

We also had a little bit of time with my mom.
All-in-all, it was a great trip, full of great girls!
Of course, I can't go home without THIS. Mmmmmmm.

It's Gettin' HOT!

It doesn't take long to warm up here in Tennessee...Kentucky (wherever it is that we live), so I decided to get the kids a sprinkler. If nothing else, it makes for some cute pictures. :)

Ha! Love this one...my little sprinkler ballerina.
 NOOOO, not in my eyes!

Crazy boy.

JC's Graduation

My youngest cousin, Johnny, or as we all call him "JC" graduated high school this weekend. We couldn't be more proud of him. Congratulations, JC. We love you!
