I've been traveling for most of the day today headed to the the Army Family Action Plan Conference in Fort Bragg, NC and while I was on my second flight I spent most of my time in prayer. I wasn't sure where I was going to start with it, but I just started blabbing everything I could think of to Jesus. Finally, He spoke the following message to me. I'm not sure what He has in store for us, but I am excited. Hopefully, while I am away this week at the conference I will find all the spare time I can to spend with Jesus and delve into what he wants me to uncover with this new found treasure.
Don't let complacency in this life keep you from seeking salvation in the next.

Photo Fun
So I've been taking this photography class at my church. It's a lot of fun and I am really learning the basics that I had forgotten all those years ago in my high school photography class. Well, my sweet friend has way more confidence in me than I do, myself, and she asked me to take some family photos for her and a few extra for some special projects she and her hubby have coming up. They are close family friends and I would do anything for them, so I was happy to oblige, I just hope I did their projects justice. It was a ton of fun and it turns out, I enjoy chasing folks around with a camera. And here's what we came up with.

.worship.
Okay, I'm taking votes. My photography class was told to go out and capture "worship." This is what I came up with...but I can only turn one in. What do you think?
I had my neighbor help with this one. It's a staged shot, of course, but I loved the sunburst of light through the trees.
This photo was just an idea I had. I was flipping through the bible and just-so-happened that The Great Commission was the last paragraph on the page in my bible, so it was perfect placement for this shot.
I took this photo in January while I was visiting Washington, D.C.. It is part of someone's last name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial wall. It was like "Jesus" was bolder than any other word on the wall. It totally stuck out to me and caught my eye.

Let's Play Ball!
We signed Xzayvier up for little league baseball this year. He looks so stinkin' cute in his uniform! While it is a learning process for both of us (him learning to play and me teaching him), we are having a lot of fun sharing this sport, especially since Rob is not a huge baseball fan and I have been a fan and played softball since I was Zay's age.
With that, let's play ball!
...and here are his biggest fans.

Easter Fun
Here are a few photos I took of the kids on Easter. You'll notice Mekyla and Xzayvier cooperated with photos, Kreid, however, had his own plans. It works out anyway, because these can serve as Ky & Zay's spring photos.
Our bible study had a nice Easter lunch with and egg hunt for the kids. Here are all five before we let them loose.
Kreid wasn't all that concerned with hunting for eggs, as soon as he realized the three eggs he did find had candy in them.
