Hello Everyone!

I come with good news. Kreid had his follow up appointment today and they reported that he is doing great. His oxygen level is nearly perfect, so he is breathing just fine now. Hallelujah!! He still sounds wheezy and is coughing a lot, but the pediatrician said that is both normal, and a good thing. The more he coughs, hopefully the more "yuck" he gets out of his chest. He is still sleeping a bit more than usual, but that is definitely okay too. Not only does it give us a chance to rest, it is also when he breathes easiest.

So I think we are on the downhill slope of this RSV roller coaster. A few coughs here, and some nasal clearing there, but all-in-all, I think we are in the clear. Kreid has been amazing during this frightening time. He had to deal with some tough times, getting a chest x-ray, getting an IV, getting his nose sucked out every few hours, but he was a trooper. He was happy and playful most of the time. Here are some pictures to document our time.

YAY! Daddy finally made it.

Home sweet home, and back to normal... sort of.

I am so glad you are all home and back together again. Kreid is quite the little trooper and I know you all must be exhausted. I am sure that his big brother and sister are excited to have life calming down as well. :) -Amie
