HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY, XZAYVIER!

January is a special month for the Smith family. Rob and I celebrate our anniversary, but we also celebrate our super-sweet and intelligent boy, Xzayvier. He turned 8 earlier this month and it's just so hard to believe that he's gotten so big, so quick! He's such a sweetie to celebrate with too, because he is so appreciative of special gifts. And since he's the "recluse" of the family, it's always nice to make him the star of the show.

Anyway, here are some pictures of his actual birthday and his birthday party that we had a week later.

 

Mekyla enjoyed bringing(dragging) Xzayvier in to surprise him a bit too much.

Zay loved his "spy gear" that Mekyla picked out for him.

Now it's party time!

Xzayvier chose to have a boys day and sleepover for his birthday. So they started their day at Chuck E Cheese's (because laser tag was closed), then headed home for some pizza and cake. (Notice how Kreid just made himself part of the gang. Silly boy!)

Little Miss Princess wasn't invited to the party...she's just hanging out, hoping to get some cake, I'm sure.

This might be my favorite picture. I love it.

I think Michael enjoyed the cake.

She managed to work her way to the table in time for cake.

Xzayvier, you're eight now. You LOVE reading. You love reading Diary of a Whimpy Kid books. Your best friend is Samuel. Your worst enemy is Mekyla. You're a great big brother to Kreid. You're quirky. You're fun. You're creative. You love to please people. You are a straight A student. You love Jesus. He loves you too. :)
