Mekyla, Kreid and I took a trip home to Cincinnati a few weeks ago. Xzayvier was visiting family and Rob was away for work, so we figured it was as good a time as any to visit friends and my mom. I cannot begin to tell you how refreshing it is for me to get to spend some quality time with Tonya and Kari, my two best friends from high school. It is something I definitely took for granted when I lived in Ohio and I'd say one of the things I miss most since I moved is just hanging out with the two of them. I think Mekyla would agree. Aside from her Daddy and her Granny, "Taco" (Tonya) and "Diddy" (Kari...Mekyla's poor pronunciation as a toddler gave them life-long nicknames) are her best buds. She misses them like crazy and loves to go back to Cincinnati to visit them too. And Kreid...well Kreid just loves to get attention. Oh and he loves to hang out with Tonya's boyfriend, John.

I also had a little extra time to have dinner with two other great friends from high school, Danielle and Stacy...just about a week before Stacy's sweet baby girl, Summer was born.
Now I can't wait to go back to meet Summer and visit with Stacy!
We also had a little bit of time with my mom.
All-in-all, it was a great trip, full of great girls!
Of course, I can't go home without THIS. Mmmmmmm.
